Established By Artist Blaze Evans in May of 2025, The Shangriloft is a whimsical, arts and crafts workshop located in the Woodlands Neighborhood, in Cloudcroft NM. Offering public and private events accommodating to all ages and skill levels. And Soon, seasonal Artist Residency!
Here at the ‘loft we believe art is a way of life. It’s not necessarily what you make but what you make of life. It’s not what you do but what it does to you.
And it’s not always about making something big but about experiencing a creative life together.

My Approach
Hi, My Name is Blaze Evans. I’m owner and creator of the ShangrilLoft LLC. I’ve always been an artist and dreamt of a place like the ‘loft for a long time. With the help from my friends, family and community; who put their ideas, hearts and energy into this place, It’s real!
As an artist I love working with other creatives. I believe through helping others and collaboration we can make a difference as we show the world how beautiful it truly is.

Create with us during our weekly Tuesday art clubs, or for more in depth guidance join us for Puff and Paint, Ceramics, or other pop-up classes with the community.
Build it
Or leave your own personal touch at the ‘loft during an Artist residency. You’ll teach your medium, host art club and leave an installation during your stay.
